Where's a nice town to live in Wiltshire?

My husband is having to move jobs possibly to Bristol. I work in Netheravon which is 5 miles north of Amesbury. We need to find somewhere lovely to live in between the two! We currently live in Salisbury and I just love it and ideally don't want to move but it's looking inevitable! Any advice appreciated!
