Is this gentlemanly behavior sign of a player?

On our first time hanging out at the movies he introduced himself to my friends with a handshake, opened doors for everyone, insisted on paying for everything and he bought the drink, food, and even put his jacket over me when we went outside and it was cold. He seems interested in my family background, and we sat and talked for a bit before he had to go home. He asked if I'd like to hang out again sometime next week. Later when we talked he mentioned it looks like I work out because I am in good fit condition. He also felt the need to bring up that his mom used to be concerned when he started dating that he'd get a girl pregnant but he never has. Does this mean he's interested in me as a potential girlfriend even though right now we're getting to know each other as friends? PS: We're 18.
