What kind of car is Lightning McQueen in real life??

Lightning McQueen is like a Dodge Intrepid on front but in the movie his sideview is like an old Corvette. The back is sorta much like a Dodge Intrepid too, but its a little designed. But the whole body is combined on american cars. Some peoples thinks that he is a Ferrari they say it because the part when Guido an Luigi was holding a Ferrari logo that was when Doc and Lightning was racing. Guido and luigi mistakenly know that Lightning is a Ferrari. I'l say that Lightning McQueen is a Dodge Intrepid.
