Help me prove Issac Newton isn't the greatest genius?

Everyone knows the appel thing, and his 3 laws of motion, but help me prove this to my dumb teacher. That these laws are so basic that everyone realized it, but it was so basic no one bothered to write it down, or help me prove that this was so obvious someone was bound to figure it out sooner or later
