I fell from a ladder at work & tore my mcl & stretched my acl, &they knew about the problem can i sue?

many complaints about these ladders have been made & a few accidents, even though the other incident was a step breaking & not a slipping in the ladder like my case can i sue for them keeping the same unsafe equipment for us to use? now im out with surgery & tore & damaged ligaments in my knee can i sue for that?
