How do I re-setup my Floyd Rose style tremolo?

I have an Ibanez RG series 7 string with a Floyd Rose licensed tremolo. Some time ago, I let somebody borrow it and took it back after I saw it lying under a pile of clothes and junk in his apartment. Ever since then, I CANNOT get it to tune. Tightening a string pulls the trem forward, loosening the other strings. Loosening a string lets the trem sink back into the body, tightening the other strings. By the time I tune all the strings, all but the last one are out of tune. Repeating the process doesn't help at all and kills the tone. Anybody know how I can get this thing tuned?
