Do Black People with good diction struggle for acceptance among other African Americans?

Because in our society, if you don't talk like you are from the "hood" either you forgot where you came from or you aren't really black. It's a sad thing because we are, I think, the only race that doesn't stick together. And this is one of the main reasons. I wish it were different.
